That’s a wrap!  OneStream Splash finished up in fabulous Las Vegas – bringing together industry experts, customers and partners to experience the future of Enterprise Finance.  At Splash, we shared announcements of major innovations, our new AI Hub, customer success stories and so much more.  Attendees experienced what’s possible when organizations have the access, insights and capabilities needed to Take Finance Further™.

In this blog post, we share a daily recap of Splash.  The recap highlights key opportunities customers had to elevate their Finance teams with strategies to enhance financial operations and build valuable connections.

Day 1: Setting the Stage for the Future of Finance

Day one brought Finance professionals together and provided a foundation of practical knowledge to help Take Finance Further™.

Executive Summit

To kick things off, OneStream Splash started with an insightful Executive Summit for Finance leaders.  The group connected and discussed the key topics reshaping Finance teams – enterprise AI, the Finance talent crunch, the need to modernize the Finance function and more.  Highlights include Finit Solutions showcasing customer success stories with Nasdaq, Sherwin-Williams and Johnson Controls. Specifically, the panel discussed modernizing their Finance processes to take the Office of the CFO into the next decade.

The day also included a thought leadership session from PwC.  In the session, PwC discussed the crucial role of analytics, AI and ML within the CFO organization.  The focus was especially on how digital Finance solutions such as OneStream help navigate the transformation to a core AI-enabled system.  Throughout the day, Finance leaders gained practical insights into leveraging technology to help drive efficiency and strategy.

Hands-on Workshops

In a series of interactive workshops, attendees had the opportunity to dive deep into specific topics and gain practical skills.  These interactive sessions covered everything from advanced modeling techniques to optimizing dashboards, ensuring that participants left with actionable insights and new expertise.

Partner Summit

The Partner Summit was an excellent opportunity for partners to come together and hear from OneStream’s alliance and sales leadership. Partners gained new insights in several talk tracks and panel discussions (see Figure 1). Highlights from the discussions include, previews of new innovations, sales and marketing priorities, best practices in supporting the Office of the Customer through collaboration and training and supporting the long-term success of OneStream’s alliance partnerships.

Day 2: Igniting Innovation

Vision Keynote

The focus was especially on how OneStream is driving financial transformation.

Here’s a list of the biggest highlights:

Game-changing innovations:  Mr. Shea unveiled 12 major innovations that are leading Enterprise Finance AI, amplifying the core capabilities of the OneStream Platform, driving Finance-led operations and bringing more power to the platform.  Here’s a quick rundown of some of those innovations:

Figure 3: OneStream’s approach to AI, transforms how Finance teams leverage AI to navigate today’s complex business landscape.

“We’re redefining AI for Finance to address these challenges, creating trusted, secure and purpose-built solutions tailored to Finance pain points.  Our new Sensible AI solutions announced today will increase Enterprise Finance AI adoption and help CFOs plan faster, forecast with greater accuracy and unlock new growth opportunities.” – Tom Shea, CEO of OneStream.

Here are some of the new OneStream Sensible AI solutions announced:

  • OneStream Sensible GenAI (Preview) combines context and conversation into one powerful large language model chatbot to make GenAI impactful and sensible for Finance leaders.  By pulling data from OneStream’s financial intelligence and a company’s own enterprise workflows and data structures, Finance leaders can interact and query their own data “cubes” in plain English.  This financially intelligent translator lets Finance leaders accurately steer the business by gathering insights directly from financial and operational data within the secure OneStream interface.
  • OneStream Sensible Machine Learning (ML) Scenario Modeling capability builds on the initial OneStream Sensible ML solution. With this capability, companies can create real-time, AI-driven “what-if” forecasting scenarios using the company’s own enterprise information across operational and financial workstreams. Finance teams can isolate key business drivers, such as changes in interest rates, inflation, gas prices, new product introductions and plant shutdowns. Plus, teams can then validate the scenarios and test their impact across forecasting, operational planning, workforce planning, sales planning and other areas.
  • OneStream Sensible AI Library (Preview) puts the power of AI reporting into the hands of Finance leaders, without the need of a data scientist.  With the Sensible AI Library, Financial Close and Consolidation and Financial Planning and Analysis teams can more easily use pre-built AI models to consume and interact with data across financial workflows.  This capability allows teams to address key reporting and planning challenges, such as detecting anomalies, cold start forecasting, and fuzzy matching across a myriad of assets and locations.
  • Infinity SPM Sales Performance Management (SPM) solution is an example of a partner leveraging the OneStream platform to extend beyond the Office of the CFO (see Figure 4).  The new SPM solution supercharges the ability to plan, manage and analyze sales performance across the enterprise.  With SPM, organizations can exceed sales goals, align incentives, and transform forecasting, budgeting, and planning for growth.
Figure 4: InfinitySPM is a fully integrated Sales Performance Management, Sales Operations, and Incentive Management solution.
  • A new approach to narrative reporting that centralizes and accelerates the narrative assembly, analysis, review and approval processes – so organizations can be confident that their data and commentary are always accurate and in-sync.
  • Enhanced user experience that provides users access to OneStream the way they want it – whether it’s through the Browser, Phone, Tablet, or Windows application (Microsoft or Apple).

Customer transformation stories:  Leaders also shared their success with OneStream and how they have gained significant value.  For instance, Lego discussed how they transformed end-to-end planning processes, fundamentally evolving how the company plans and reports to drive key insights and decisions.  Sonoco also shared how leveraging OneStream’s Sensible ML increased accuracy, enabled stronger financial results and improved financial guidance across the organization.

Microsoft partnership:  Shea and Alvaro Celis, Microsoft Vice President Global ISV Commercial Solution, discussed how the elevated OneStream-Microsoft partnership would empower Finance leaders to work better, faster and stronger – to steer the business and Take Finance Further™ (see Figure 5).
