While many of our customers were busy closing the year-end books, and finalizing budgets over the past few months, OneStream's Engineering team was busy developing and putting the finishing touches on the OneStream XF 4.3 release.
For those who are new to OneStream, we provide a unified, SmartCPMTM platform that allows organizations to modernize finance and reduce complexity in the cloud or on-premise. Our platform allows them to simplify and align consolidation, planning, reporting and data quality processes across the enterprise.
Our OneStream XF MarketPlace enables organizations to extend their investment through a marketplace of pre-built solutions and customization capabilities. By spending less time on system administration and more time on value-added analysis, OneStream enables Finance and IT professionals to get back to business.
What's New in the OneStream Platform?
The OneStream XF 4.3 release includes several enhancements designed to make life easier for end-users as well as administrators.
Enhanced Data Spreading – the many customers using OneStream for budgeting and planning will love the enhanced data spreading functionality within the Spreadsheet feature of the OneStream App for Windows and the OneStream XF Excel Add-in. This includes enhancements to the spreading functionality found in the OneStream XF Ribbon, as well as the ability to right-click on a cell to access the OneStream XF spreading menu.
"On-the-Fly" Consolidation - A new function has been introduced allowing users to provide dynamic, approximate results on an aggregated basis. This on-the-fly value is presented to the user instantly as a convenience during data entry. Users edit numbers on a form, save it, and instantly see estimated consolidated results for totals right on the page - without having to run a calculation or consolidation.
New API Functions – For administrators of OneStream applications a new set of API functions are available to help manage Users and Groups. These commands can only be executed by a user who has a role of System Administrator.
This release also includes many other enhancements and performance improvements for users and administrators.
